Viva Watches can resize most types of rings, from plain band rings to those with stones set. We cater for most metal types and can resize gold, silver, platinum and more.
Rings can be resized up or down multiple sizes and our white gold ring resizing service comes with a complimentary rhodium plating service.
Our jewellery workshop employs professional goldsmiths and our knowledge and use of high quality tools ensures accurate ring resizing every time.
How Long Will It Take To Have My Ring Resized?
Viva Watches central workshop caters for all types of jewellery repairs, via a specialized workshop. Our ring resizing service is generally completed within 7 – 10 working days.
You can forward your ring directly onto the workshop using our Post To Workshop service or visit any of our 58 branches.
Our branch staff will inspect your jewellery on site and provide information about cost to resize.
How Are Rings Resized?
The method used to resize your ring depends on how many sizes you would like to increase or decrease by.
Rings which only need to be resized by a small amount can generally be stretched to a bigger size, without causing weakness to the structure.
Rings which need to be resized several sizes bigger are cut extra metal is applied, before shaping. Rings which are to made smaller are cut and then resized.
Complimentary Rhodium Plating For White Gold Jewellery (with ring resizing)
Viva Watches offer a free rhodium plating service to compliment your ring resize. A thin layer of Rhodium is applied to your white gold jewellery by our professional goldsmiths which adds a dazzling, mirror shine.
Jewellery which has been rhodium plated will keep it’s shine for months (depending on wear).
